The Problem with Generic Courses

Finance education that actually fits your practice

Health professionals working independently face a financial reality that standard business courses simply don't address. Fees collected through prepaid health plans arrive weeks later. Demand drops in January. Private session volumes shift with the academic calendar. These aren't edge cases — they are the structure of your income.

Visturiz was created to fill this gap. Our programs teach you to read your own financial patterns, manage the gaps between high and low periods, and organize your practice finances with clarity — without offering regulated financial advice.

Fee Management

Understand and plan around how your fees actually arrive.

Seasonal Planning

Build financial resilience for predictable low-demand periods.

Practice Organization

Separate personal and practice finances with clear structure.

Specialty-Specific

Different approaches for physicians, dentists, and psychologists.

What We Teach

Three pillars of applied health finance

Each area of study addresses a specific challenge that independent health professionals encounter when managing their practice finances.

01

Fee Flow Understanding

Health professionals often receive payment weeks or months after services are rendered, especially through obras sociales and prepaid plans. Learning to map and anticipate this flow is foundational to financial stability.

02

Low-Demand Period Planning

January, winter school breaks, and local holiday clusters create predictable dips in patient volume. Planning for these periods in advance transforms a stressful gap into a manageable rhythm.

03

Practice Finance Structure

Separating what the practice earns from what you take home, understanding fixed vs. variable costs in a consultorio, and building a clear financial picture — these skills change how professionals relate to their work.

Who We Serve

Designed for your specialty

Each health profession has distinct billing patterns, patient cycles, and overhead structures. Our content reflects that reality.

🩺

Physicians

Navigating dual income streams from private patients and health plan reimbursements, managing the timing gap between service and payment, and planning around call schedules and seasonal demand shifts.

🦷

Dentists

Dental practices face high material costs relative to fees, significant equipment investment cycles, and patient scheduling patterns that create uneven monthly revenue. We address all of these.

🧠

Psychologists

Session-based income with high variability during vacations, academic calendars, and patient transitions. Psychologists often work across multiple settings — private, institutional, and online — each with different financial dynamics.

Our Journey

How Visturiz came to be

Built from direct conversations with health professionals who were underserved by existing finance education.

Early 2022

The Gap Identified

Conversations with independent health professionals in Patagonia revealed a consistent frustration: available finance courses addressed business owners in general, but not the specific realities of a medical or dental practice.

Late 2022

Curriculum Development

Working directly with physicians, dentists, and psychologists, the foundational curriculum was developed and tested in small group workshops across Comodoro Rivadavia.

2023

Visturiz Founded

The academy was formally established in Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut, with a focus on in-person training programs and an initial diagnostic assessment process for new participants.

2024

Expanded Specialty Content

Separate curriculum tracks developed for each of the three core specialties, incorporating feedback from participants about the specific financial challenges unique to their field.

2026

Ongoing Refinement

Continuous program updates to reflect changes in Argentina's economic context, health system billing structures, and the evolving needs of professionals in liberal practice.

Our Programs

What we cover in our training

Each program module addresses a distinct aspect of financial management for health professionals in independent practice.

Health plan reimbursements, private fee collection, and the lag between service delivery and payment receipt are central to how independent health professionals experience their income. This module maps these cycles and teaches practical approaches to managing cash flow within them. We look at how different specialties experience this differently and build personalized timelines.

Summer in Argentina means a predictable drop in patient volume for most health professionals. The same happens during school holidays and local festivities. Rather than treating these as financial emergencies, this module teaches proactive planning approaches that allow you to navigate low periods with preparation rather than stress.

Rent, supplies, administrative staff, equipment maintenance, professional insurance — the costs of running a practice are often underestimated or poorly tracked. This module helps participants build a clear picture of their fixed and variable costs and understand the relationship between these costs and the fees they charge.

Many health professionals blend their personal and practice finances in ways that make it difficult to understand either clearly. This module provides practical frameworks for separating these two financial spheres, establishing a clear "salary" concept for the professional, and building a sustainable personal financial foundation alongside the practice.

Before making any financial decisions, a professional needs to understand their own historical patterns. This module introduces practical tools for tracking income and expenses over time, identifying trends and anomalies, and using this data to make more informed decisions about practice management and personal planning.

Setting fees is one of the most complex decisions for an independent health professional in Argentina, particularly given inflation and the mix of private and health plan patients. This module explores how to think about fee levels, the relationship between fees and practice sustainability, and how to approach fee adjustments in a structured way.
